Serves: 4 people

  • 100 mls Beef Stock
  • 8 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 - Green Pepper
    Finely Chopped
  • 4 - SuperValu Baguette
  • 3 cloves SuperValu Garlic
  • 1 tbsp SuperValu Olive Oil
  • 1 - SuperValu Onion
    Finely Chopped
  • 500 g SuperValu Quality Irish Eye of Pork Loin
  • 1 - SuperValu Salt
  • 50 g SuperValu Signature Tastes Tomato & Chilli Sauce 350g
  • 400 g SuperValu Tinned Tomatoes


  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium heat.
    Add the onion, green pepper and garlic and
    cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until the vegetables have
    softened. Season with some salt and pepper

  2. Add the shredded pork, chopped tomatoes, ketchup, stock and Worcestershire sauce to the pan and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has reduced. Taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper if desired.

  3. Warm the rolls in the oven. Place a layer of the shredded pork in the sauce on one side of the roll, top with one or two slices of cheese and serve immediately.
