halved, cored and shredded.

Red Wine

Sultanas

Method
In a large saucepan, place the sliced onion, red cabbage, diced apple, brown sugar, sultana, cinnamon stick, port and red wine.
Stir in the relish and season with salt & pepper.
Cover the pan with a lid and over a very low heat, bring to the boil. Then reduce the heat and cook for 60-80 minutes.
Set aside until needed or if prepared in advance place into an airtight container and store in the freezer.
