From February 15th, SuperValu’s 192 nationwide stores will become the exclusive distributor of the popular Eumom Mother-to-be Gift Box. The Eumom Mother-to-be Gift Box is a free gift of baby product samples given to every pregnant woman after her first scan in 18 of the 21 maternity hospitals in Ireland. With this new deal approx 4,500 pregnant women each month will conveniently be able to collect their free Eumom Gift Box from their local SuperValu store. We reach mothers at critical decision–making times and at key life stages and of course mothers love to try out new products before choosing to buy. The programme is extremely popular and the boxes are a very welcome gift. With SuperValu on board as a partner we can now ensure mums have a local point of access in the heart of their community.” Speaking on the announcement of the partnership, Ray Kelly, Marketing Director SuperValu added; “We are delighted to formalise our relationship with Eumom. Our nationwide network of 192 SuperValu stores will ensure that new Mums the length and breadth of the country won’t have to travel too far to get their Eumom gift box. This is a great initiative, as the pack provides mothers-to-be with lots of useful information and the opportunity to trial lots of different products, so they can make an informed choice before committing to purchase.
